Creating Beauty in the Midst of Becoming
The Curated Muse was never supposed to be just a website about beautiful homes, great clothes, travel, or things worth buying.
It came from something much more personal...
Over the past several years, my life has changed in ways I never anticipated. I’ve navigated the unraveling of a marriage, major career transitions, financial uncertainty, complicated relationships, and the uncomfortable experience of having to reconsider what I thought my future would look like. There were seasons when very little felt within my control.
And somewhere in the middle of all of that, I discovered something important: when you cannot immediately change your circumstances, you can still be intentional about the environment you create around yourself and the way you choose to move through it.
For me, that often started at home. I became fascinated with interiors—not simply because I wanted a beautiful house, but because I began understanding how much our surroundings affect the way we feel. Learning about design, rearranging a room, finding the perfect piece, organizing a space, or making my home feel peaceful gave me something constructive to focus on when other parts of life felt incredibly uncertain.
Fashion became another version of that. There is something powerful about getting dressed and feeling put together even when your life doesn't feel particularly put together. A great pair of pants won't solve your problems. Neither will a beautiful room, a plane ticket, a skincare product, or a new pair of shoes.
But sometimes those seemingly small rituals remind you that you're still here...Still curious...Still creating...Still becoming.
I've always loved learning, and that curiosity has carried me through more chapters than I realized at the time. My career has evolved. I've moved, started over, learned entirely new industries and skills, traveled, questioned relationships, reconsidered what financial independence means to me, and recently begun teaching myself yet another new world: digital entrepreneurship.
The Curated Muse is where all of those pieces finally come together.
It is about creating a beautiful home, but also creating a life that feels like yours.
It's about personal style, but also rediscovering yourself when an old identity no longer fits.
It's about travel, products, projects, lessons learned, things worth investing in—and occasionally things absolutely not worth the money.
And yes, you'll find things I genuinely use, wear, love, recommend, or discover along the way. Some links may be affiliate links, which means I may earn a commission if you decide something belongs in your life too. But the goal will always be curation rather than consumption: fewer things, better choices, and recommendations with a reason behind them. Most importantly, this isn't a story about having everything figured out.
I don't...It's about learning that rebuilding doesn't always happen through one enormous, life-changing decision. Sometimes it happens through a hundred small ones...
You repaint the room...You take the trip...You learn something new...You put on the outfit...You make the financial decision you've been afraid to make...You walk away from what no longer feels right...You start the project you have absolutely no idea how to build.
And eventually you look around and realize: you weren't just curating a home, a wardrobe, or a collection of beautiful things. You were curating your next life.
Welcome to The Curated Muse.
